Today, Google and Yubico announced FIDO U2F (Universal 2^nd Factor) support for Google services using U2F YubiKeys.  This is great news and shows the growing realization that 2FA is needed for your critical online services, and not just that, but also that the second factor needs to be highly cost effective.

Of course, it is important to remember that you need to manage your authentication solution.  You don’t want your users willy-nilly buying tokens to use without having some sort of infrastructure to provide Enterprise-grade management.
